Security and Social Media
Hi everybody!
Today we are going to talk about socal media and the problems it can carry
In modern society social media has taken over people's lives and they act as a tribune use to expose one's oun life to others - including strangers.
This phenomenon could be explained as part of the necessity felt to exhibit our lives to create a certain image, creating a dependency to feed egotism by being successful in the virtual platforms.
The security concerns appear as we consider the amount of things we share at social media and the volume of people who see them. It may not be safe to upload everything we do to social media, especially personal infomation which misuse by other could mean a real threat to one's security such as scams or harassment.
Personaly, I prefer not to upload most things I do on social media but it mostly has to do with the fact I'm not used to use them -Also I don't have an interesting life that deserves being post lol- but I would say that my favorite platform is Instagram becuase it's the one I use the most. I normally upload photos o the time I spend with my friends but I prefer not to share things related to my private life.
