POST 6 > Postgraduate studies
Hi everybody!
Wow, so today's topic is an interesting one, I'll write about my plans on postgraduate studies.
I can't even get my head around on what I'm studying at the moment so, thinking about what I'll study after my graduation is kind of hard (I'm so ambivalent that I prefer not to plan that much my future) but I have certain things clear, one of them being that I'm interested in having a postgraduate degree.
First I must confess that I'm not interested in continuing with further studies at the area I'm studying at the moment -I really like Public Administration and I'm enjoying a lot this career but getting more into administration and management isn't something that enthuse me-.
So if I decide to take a postgraduate course would probably be about some of the areas I feel really passioned and that I decided not to study as an undergraduate degree, so they'd probably be a Master on Literature, History or Linguistic and if I get to study a Doctorate it'd definitely be on philosophy, of which I'll take more right now.
One of the few things I have more or less clear was that, even though I get into Public Administration, at a certain moment I'll take a postgraduate course on philosophy. I'm in love with his area, the deepness of thoughts that can provide you and the way it helps to understand humanity and even some things of daily life are one of the reason I decided to dedicate sometime on the future more time to develop my knowledge on the wonderful world of philosophy.
Here's where I present another problem and that's is one of the reasons I didn't studied philosophy after high school and that'd be the fact that I don't like the way is thought in any of the universities of my city. Not many collages offer the career and the one who did were or fully influenced by religion or didn't offer the courses I found interesting. This is what make me conclude that, if I study a Doctorate on philosophy it'd be abroad, particularly (guess it) on Buenos Aires -my post it's pretty tautological-. The University of Buenos Aires is one of the best on philosophy and offer an interesting program so I'll definitely would study there if I get the opportunity specially if I go living there during what takes the course.
You must be dizzy with all the different career I've talk in this blog but, I'm terrible at deciding. I like lots of things!
See you in the next post!
Wow, philosophy is a interesting and a hard area, but I think that the knowledge that provides is really relevant. It would be help you to investigate, work and others. Good option!
