POST 3 > MY FAVORITE FILM

Hi everybody!

I've been thinking a lot about which wold be my favorite movie, mostly because I havn't being a huge film fan since last year.

I thought it wold be nice to start with some honorable mentions: I love Tarantino's movies (I know, who doesn't) and specially Inglorious Basterds and Kill Bill. I also enjoy a lot latinamerican and spanish cinema like chilean's Machuca or Almodóvar's movies. But I think my favorite movie is a more recent one.

Early this year I came across with the movie Call my by your name, a film of Luca Guadagnino that tells the love story of young Elio with the tourist Oliver. The narrative take place in summer at northern Italy in the eighties. Both characters meet because Oliver goes on vacations and stay on Elio's house. I'll stop there so you can get the rest of the story by watching it!

I don't know why I loved this film, specially consider that I HATE romantic films (with exception of classic ones) but when I went to the cinema and watch the film I immediately fell in love with  it. I watch it at Normandie Cinema, in my opinion the best place to watch films in Santiago and when I came out of the theatre I couldn't stop thinking about the film! Have you seen it?
